The existing lawn with conventional irrigation had caused foundation problems and was replaced with native drought tolerant xeriscape plant material on drip irrigation. The new design incorporates flowering xeric shrubs and perennials, stone paths, a meandering dry streambed with stone bridge, terraced landscape areas, and drought tolerant flowering plants.
