The 18,000 sf Montrose Botanical Xeriscape Garden demonstrates low water use by incorporating non-thirsty plants, zoned water efficient irrigation, water conserving mulches, incorporation of soil amendments, and limited drought-tolerant turf areas. Each of the landscape water conservation techniques are displayed in the garden and are graphically explained on educational interpretive signs.
