SHAPE design provided construction admnistration services as consultant to the design architects, AMD Architecture, for The 104,000 square foot Fruita 8/9 school and the 106,300 sf Bookcliff Middle School and City gym. The schools are load-bearing masonry and steel structures on a concrete footing and steel pile foundation system. They include a full kitchen and gymnasium along with classrooms and administrative spaces. The Fruita 8/9 site work entailed development of over 18 acres and included a football field, basketball court and running track. The Bookcliff Middle Shool site work involved development of 19.5 acres including parking areas, atheltic fields, and extensive landscaping.
