The Group Health Credit Union main branch in Seattle, WA, is an extensive renovation and upgrade to the existing 1954 building. Located adjacent to the Group Health hospital, the branch provides financial services to the health cooperative staff. The original building was stripped to the steel frame and rebuilt to current standards, an elevator was added, and the exterior given a durable masonry, steel and tile skin; this materials palette was used in a more refined version in the interior of the building.
